Our school has two wonderful speech language specialists that provide speech-language pathology services to our students. Speech and language pathology services include more that just correcting speech (articulation) errors. Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) help students in the areas of phonological awareness (letter sounds), vocabulary, comprehension, grammar, verbal expression, social language, hearing, fluency (stuttering), voice, augmentation/alternative communication and swallowing.
If you ever have concerns about your child's communication skills, please call the school and ask to speak to Holly Loffand, CCC/SPL or Kristie Palummo.
Special Education Teachers at A.B. Chandler are Stefani Johnson, Debra Polley, & Janyna Russelburg. Mary Ryle is the school psychologist.
