At the end of Day 1, we have a tight competition! In 4th Place, are the freshmen with 160 points. 3rd place goes to our juniors with 202. 2nd Place are the Seniors with 228 points. And we have a first here at HCHS… The SOPHOMORES are in FIRST place with 265 points!
The UL Owensboro Extension nursing program hosts an in-person Information Session on Wed., 9/25 from 1-3:00 pm CDT. The location is 1000 Breckenridge St., Suite 400, Owensboro, KY 42303. We encourage prospective students and their families to pre-register for this event.
Attend CHEERS Executive Functioning Skills! This fall, CHEERS is offering free intervention groups, targeting these skills. The groups will be facilitated by Mrs. Stacia Wolf, the School Psychologist, and will utilize an evidenced-based curriculum.

Starting today, Wrestling Conditioning practice will be Monday, Wednesday, and Friday after school from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. To participate, you must have a current sports physical. Meet in the aux gym after school.
Swim conditioning begins Monday, September 23, and will be held on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 4:45 to 6:30 at the YMCA. Information packets are available at Student Services for anyone interested in joining the Colonel and Lady Colonel swim teams.

The Alive at 25 Graduated License Program will be held at HCHS on Thursday, September 19, 2024, from 4-8 pm. All students must present either a Driver's permit or Driver's license to the instructor. You may sign up at https://aliveat25.us/ky/course-info?course_id=14792

National Honor Society will meet Monday, September 9 in R212 - from 3:30 - 4:15; if you can’t make it, please stop by R212 on Monday to pick up the information.

The Henderson County Clerk’s Office is looking for student workers to help on Election Day - this is a great way to make some money AND be involved in the election process. If you are 18 yrs old and interested in making $200 on election day, stop by R212 for more information.
