
For any Junior who is interested in becoming a Student Ambassador and DID NOT apply last Spring, please pick up an application at your Unit Desk. Complete the application and bring it to the informational meeting on Tuesday, August 27th at 7:15 am in B213. DO NOT BE LATE!


Please move all vehicles from the CTE parking lot by 4:00 pm for the Marching Band rehearsal.

Students: If you plan to park on campus, you MUST have a parking permit. Parking contracts are available at the bookstore. Please get those turned in the bookstore ASAP and have your driver's license and $20.00 at that time.

Students: If you are walking to and from school near the roundabouts, please do not cross Zion Road anywhere except at the stoplight at Klutey Park. Please wait for the light to tell you to walk and look both ways before crossing the street.


The first meeting for the Academic Team will be on Monday, August 12th from 3:30-5:00 in Mr Sullivan’s room, B202. If you cannot attend, please drop by and see Mr. Sullivan to let him know.

Girls Basketball workouts will begin August 19th from 3:40-5:00 on Mondays and Wednesdays. You must have a current physical on file to attend.

Senior Walk
Monday, May 20th
* Seniors will be in their Cap/Gown in the Main Gym, sitting by Elementary School (signs will be posted)
* We will load buses between 8:15-8:20 and leave HCHS by 8:25
* Students will walk through North, South, and Holy Name between 8:45-9, then go to their Elementary locations
* Students will walk through AB Chandler, Bend Gate, Cairo, East Heights, Holy Name, Jefferson, Niagara, South Heights, and Spottsville between 9:15-9:30
* Students should arrive back to HCHS by 9:45-10.
* We will make an announcement for all students/staff at HCHS to move to the hallways for us to begin the Senior Walk at HCHS by 10:10-10:15
* Senior Walk at HCHS will begin in T200 hall (led by the HCHS Band) and make its way through every hall until the students leave the Blue Unit and make their final walk down the main hall by 10:52 (end of 3rd period)

Holiday World/Senior Breakfast
Friday, May 17th
* Seniors will report to 1st period and will be called to the Cafeteria
* Seniors will eat breakfast once they are called to the Cafeteria, they CANNOT eat breakfast in the Cafeteria before school starts (can only enter their number one time)
* Seniors will turn in Chromebooks and chargers before loading the buses to Holiday World
* If Seniors are telling you they are not going to be at school or going to Holiday World, they will need to turn in their Chromebook and charger before leaving today not to be charged for the device
* Seniors will load the buses to Holiday World after breakfast and be gone the entire day

The 6th District Baseball & Softball Tournaments are scheduled for next week. We have the 1st round bye in each tournament and will play in the championship games on Tuesday night.
The softball game will be at 5:30 pm & the baseball game at 7:30 pm at Union County High School.


Tonight’s softball game has been moved to Owensboro Catholic to allow them to have a home game for senior night. The game will begin at 6:00.
